Clorox Company (CLX) provided Thursday key elements of its 2020 strategy to achieve its goal of profitable, sustainable and responsible growth.
The company said it plans to drive superior value behind strong brand investment, innovation and technology transformation, accelerating portfolio momentum by optimizing investments between “growth brands” and “fuel brands, ” fueling growth by reducing waste in work, products and supply chain, and focusing on long-term shareholder value.
Chairman and CEO Benno Dorer said, “We’re emphasizing key strategy areas that we believe will help us continue to drive results for our shareholders over the long term. Shares were down 1.8% in recent trading.
